Details
This project is collaborated with Jamil Malik Foundation (JMF), located at Circular Road in Rawalpindi, that is already serving in the country to provide basic education, free or with minimum cost. A brief introduction of JMF is given below.
Jamil Malik Foundation (JMF) is a registered non-profit education-driven charity organization that has been serving under-privileged in Pakistani community for last two decades with the help of number of selfless individuals. The organization is committed to provide basic education to children who hardly could support formal schooling. More details about JMF is given in the attached brochure.
JMF is facing difficulties in managing funds in order to carry out its educational projects in zeal. Some general facts about JMF are summarized as follows:
* Current no. of students admitted: 450+
* Fee structure: vary from Rs. 800 to Rs. 1300 per student depending upon the academic level.
* 60% of students are getting fee concession, either completely or partially, on the need-cum-performance basis.
* 75% of students belong to under-privileged class (people who may not be educated themselves but want to educate their children).
Under the light of these statistics, JMF faces monthly deficit of around Rs. 100,000 to manage staff salaries, books/stationary, maintenance and utility bills. Most of the deficit is adjusted by means of donations collected inside the country.
