   Assalam-o-Alaikum,

   Naeem Younis transferred me Rs. 20000 in August, 2010.

   -Ali Raza has got admission at Govt College of Science, Samanabad, Faisalabad. I have provided him Rs. 12500 (Admission fee: Rs 2500, Hostel Admission fee: 8000, First month-September 2010- stipend Rs. 2000). He has to deposit hostel fee today. I have asked him for receipts. As soon I get these, I ll send a scanned copy to all of you.

   -Fatima has not got admission yet (or her uncle hasn’t updated me since last week). I am going to ask her uncle within couple of days if she needs our help.
   Rest of the amount Rs. 7500, I have with me and ll deliver when required.

   Assalam-o-Alaikum,

   It is to update you all that only one scholarship is in progress i.e. for Ali Raza and Fatima has found another sponsor to continue her studies.
   Ali Raza has been paid Rs. 12500 (Admission fee: Rs 2500, Hostel Admission fee: 8000, First month-September-October, 2010- stipend Rs. 2000). Now, he ll get Rs. 2000 every month. For the time being, I have Rs. 7500 which can cover for four months. Rest of Rs. 25000 i.e. Rs. 5000 of approved amount by APPEC will be required in Jan-Feb 2011. I am asking him the receipts regularly to ensure that the mount provided is spent properly. I ll will send scanned copies of the receipts as soon as I get some free time.

In an email, I was asked to give contact details to receive an amount of Rs. 5000 through Jamal Malik Foundation but to-date no body has contacted in this regard. The details of amount released to Ali Raza through me are followings:

   At the time of admission= Rs. 10500
   October 2010 = Rs. 1500
   November 2010 = Rs. 2000
   December 2010 = Rs. 1000
   January 2011 = Rs. 2000
   February 2011 = Rs. 1800
   March 2011 = Rs. 2000
   Total = Rs. 20,800

   All the installements were provided on his demande and requirement. In some months, he has not asked as he got some money from govt. scholarship/Family. So this partial support was very helpful for him to complete his first year. Now, he is in 2nd year FSc and waiting for our help. If APPEC manages another Rs. 20000 for him, I think he will complete his FSc. I will be waiting for a quick response as I have to inform the student whether APPEC will continue or not to support him.
