Summary of the project:

This is the phase IV of following APPEC projects (Phase I, Phase II, Phase III). We are running successfully this project since April 2014. We want to collect more money for this project so that we can provide loan to more needy families.

So far, interest free loans have been provided to 22 families (worth 10 lakh), from the funds raised for this project. Seven of them have successfully reimbursed the total amount that they borrowed while 5 families had partially reimbursed.  The money has been re-injected into the project funds for providing qarz-e-hasna to more people.

Total amount received in PKR: 4,83,275 but 2,26,000 is blocked in long term study loan to 2 students for 2 years. So working amount is only 2,57,275.

As this project is contributing a lot and giving the results that we want, now we want more funds. In this way we can run more projects at the same time and also can extend the limit of loan to a bit higher. We will extend the amount in different phases. In this phase, we are going to collect 1000 euros.

Before we were running this project only in Layyah, Mianwali, Bhakar, Lahore and Rawalpindi but now we have extended this to all over Pakistan. There are many applications for loans mostly from students for study loan but for the moment we are unable to fulfill due to lack of funds. A quick and great help is needed from all of you.
