Summary
This is the case for Muhammad Akram s/o Muhammad Aslam from Dhoke Fateh, District Attock, Pakistan. This person is in his thirties. Recently (about little over an year ago), he was diagnosed with acute kidneys malfunction. The situation degraded over time, and doctors suggested that the viable solution is a transplant. Towards the end of last year, he has been put on complete dialysis two times per week. More recently, he is also diagnosed with Hepatitis C. The family is poor; this guy has 3 small kids, and used to drive a rickshaw to make his livings. Now, for quite many months he is not able to do much because of his health conditions. There is no one in the immediate family members with enough means to pay the expenses for kidney transplant. According to doctors, the cost of this procedure can be in excess of 10-12 lacs. In this regard, any money that can be generated via APPEC forum, will surely help them.
