Summary

A poor student from district Zhob, Balochistan is studying in the 1st semester of BS-Electronics (4-years) at the University of Peshawar. His father is a farmer, cultivating a piece of land of his own and a leased one. They are 4 brothers and 1 sister. The eldest brother discontinued his education after F-Sc due to financial constraints and started a job as a salesman. His elder brother also discontinued his education after F-Sc and is now helping his father in farming. His younger brother and sister are school-goers. The average monthly income of the family is Rs. 15000/- per month, which is not enough to support his education. His elder brothers have supported him for one semester, but they can now either support him or their families. So the family has called him back to discontinue his education.

APPEC has launched this project to help creating enough funds for the student to complete at least his one academic year. The estimated amount required is Rs. 150,000. This includes Rs. 28600 tuition fee per semester or Rs. 57200 per year, Rs. 23800 for the hostel fee, and food expenses roughly Rs. 5000 per month or Rs. 60,000 per year.

You are kindly requested to come forward to help in completing his education and relieve him from the burden.

The person is eligible for Zakat.
