[O Muhammad], tell My servants who have believed to establish prayer and spend from what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, before a Day comes in which there will be no exchange, nor any friendships.
The disease of hepatitis B & C is increasing day by day in Pakistan. Hepatitis C is known as silent killer as normally its bad effects appears when it has already damage liver. Same happened to Mr. Iqtadar Ahmed Khan. Pakistan doesn’t have liver transplantation facility. That is why he contacted hospitals in china and India as these two countries are relatively less expensive than Europe and America.
He is doing job in Al-Ghazi Tractor Factory in Dera Ghazi Khan. His salary is round about Rs. 22,000 per month and he has responsibility of wife as well as one daughter of 4 years. His liver is completely damage by hepatitis C and his liver transplantation is necessary and immediately to save his life. He finally decided to get treatment from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Rajinder Nagar New Delhi 110060, India. The total expense of transplant and all related treatment for the patient and the donor is around 50,000 $ approximatelyand this expense involves a total stay in Delhi of about 3 months (including pre transplant evaluation, transplant and post transplant follow up). His total savings, property and personal loans helps him to reach about 39,000 $ but still he is short of money round about 11,000 $.
APPEC has received the request of donation from Atif Ilyas (APPEC member) who knows the patient personally. APPEC decided to launch the campaign for this noble cause. It is very urgent call as condition of patient need to go through liver transplantation immediately. He has submitted initial amount (1500 $) for the treatment and remaining amount has to be submitted after getting visa. He will get the visa before the end of June, 2010. After that he has to go to India as soon as possible due to his poor health condition. He want to go to India as soon as he will be able to arrange the remaining amount (11,000$) as his health condition doesn’t allow him to wait for much time.
It is requested to all, please help him generously on urgent basis to save his life. If someone wants to submit the contribution directly to patient account can also transfer amount into his HBL account number 1975-00012478-01, Habib town. Al Gazi Tractors, Sakhi Server Road, D. G. KHAN. One can get most recent up-to-date about his treatment or has any query can contact Iqtidar Ali khan on his cell no +92-3335382501.
The target for this project is set to a total of Euro 3000 . APPEC aims at streamlining a maximum number of contributions for collecting this sum. We encourage the donors to please make their contributions, ideally on urgent basis, in order to achieve the target before 8th of July.
