Summary
This is the bill of a widow from Sheikhupura who, after the death of her husband, has been living with her two young orphans in a small house with a fan and two light bulbs. She has no brother and the father had died. She had only sisters who are married and they are unable to help her.
Looking at the history of her bill, she always use few units of electricity. Even now only 49 units have been used but Rs. 20754 has been put in the name of arrears saying that meter was non-functional. There was a notice on the bill that if this bill is not paid then the meter will be taken off. It will also be very difficult for the widow to re-install. She has tried her best but nothing has been corrected by WAPDA.
