Summary
Muhammad Waqas is a rickshaw driver. Her sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020. After hearing about expensive treatment, his brother-in-law refused to carry treatment, so he brought his sister home and started treatment. At Kardar Hospital Faisalabad, Dr. Naeem first had four chemo and then an operation in February 2021. Radiation Allied Hospital for free. Following the histopathology test, the doctor prescribed twelve more chemo and seventeen injections of Herceptin 600 mg. The cost of this one injection is 110K PKR. He has sold all his assets and with the help of Bait-ul-Mal and other people he has completed 17 injections. We have helped this patient in completing the chemo course (APPEC Project # 184).
His sister is Mashaallah fine now but she needs about 45000 PKR for minor treatment and some tests. Reports can be provided on demand.
