Summary

Nazak belongs to a poor family in Attock. His youngest son is a heart patient. His second child was born as female. At the age of one and a half years, the parents came to know about the gender reassignment. Doctor suggested 3-4 operations till puberty. Since 2015, he has been undergoing treatment at the Government Hospital, PIMS, Islamabad. And every time due to unavailability of beds the dates are postponed. The child has to have three or four surgeries till a certain age. The baby was born as a female but according to the tests and some physical symptoms, the sex is male. Continuous and complete treatment is very important to give a clear identity to the baby. In the first stage, an operation, some expensive tests, oral as well as injective treatment is recommended by doctors. The cost of this first stage treatment is Rs. 80,000.
