Summary
Skeena bibi is a widow having 6 children, 2 sons and 4 daughters, facing severe financial problems. She works as a maid in houses and her eldest son, 18, is a labourer earning daily wages. All other children are school-going.
She has been living with her brother up till now. Children have now grown up and the brother has asked the family to make arrangements of their own. They have a small land and started building a one room house. With their savings exhausted, they could just manage to build a boundary wall.
The estimated funds required to build the house is about 3 lac rupees. They have requested APPEC to raise half of the cost so they could manage to build the roof and basic installations so the family could be able to shift as soon as possible.
